Woodland Tree Service's Commitment to Safety
The tree care industry is a very demanding field and requires the utmost scrutiny of safety and equipment maintenance. Safety is a top priority at Woodland Tree.
Daily equipment inspections are conducted by crew supervisors. Woodland Tree has 3 fully certified and experienced mechanics on site for equipment repairs and preventative maintenance. Periodic inspections done by outside authorities including Tennessee State Director of the International Society of Arboriculture, Chairman of Southern Chapter of ISA Tree Climbing, and Chairman of TN State Tree Climbing Competition to insure all safety equipment is up to OSHA and ANSI standards. In addition, Woodland Tree employs a Safety and Compliance Director to oversee proper training and professional development for all staff.
As of December 2011 staff representatives at Woodland Tree Service hold the following credentials:
- (6) International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborists
- Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
- Emergency Response & First Aid Training 2 year Red Cross Certifications for crew leaders
- CPR Certifications through The Red Cross for crew leaders
- Class A & B Commercial Driver’s Licenses
